Chapter 6 - The Paper Trail
Arthur turned his gaze back to Toby, who was still standing in his oversized green bellhop jacket, staring at the billionaire in disbelief.
"What is your name, son?" Arthur asked gently.
"Toby... Toby Sterling—no relation, sir," the boy stammered, his cheeks flushing red beneath his freckles.
Arthur smiled, a thin, mysterious expression that didn't quite reach his eyes. "There are no coincidences in this city, Toby. Come with me. You don't work for Mr. Vance anymore."
"Sir, wait!" Julian pleaded, stepping forward with his hands raised in desperate apology. "I was only enforcing hotel policy! The vagrant ordinance clearly states—"

"You are relieved of your duties immediately, Julian," Arthur interrupted, his voice dropping into a quiet register that felt far more terrifying than a shout. "And before you pack your desk, my audit team will be reviewing your ledger entries for the past three fiscal quarters. I believe we'll find where the lobby maintenance funds actually vanished."
Julian turned ash-white as the two security guards stepped between him and the manager's office door.
